JA of El Paso participating in Giving Tuesday Now May 5th

This is a global day of unity that strives to harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations in the emergency response effort to help communities and nonprofits who have been impacted.

“Junior Achievement helps young people create successful futures by giving them the skills and knowledge to be successful in the world of work,” said Elizabeth Terrazas of JA of El Paso PRESIDENT. “With COVID-19, we are now providing our programs online. We ask the El Paso community to support JA’s mission by going to jaelpaso.org and making a donation of $25 on May 5, Giving Tuesday Now. Our goal is to give 300 students access to JA programs, and we’re asking for the community’s support.”

In an effort to contribute to the commendable work of Junior Achievement, we have set a goal to raise $10,000 through personal donations. We are asking the residents of El Paso to help us, help those that utilize our programs to become prepared young people ready to face today's economic climate.

All proceeds will directly benefit Junior Achievement.
